what is the very best hands down agp video card that would fit a 1.5v slot supporting 2.0/3.0. I state 1.5v bacase my mobo's user manual states that a 3.3v could damage the mobo. so far the best I can locate is a geforce 7600gt. is there a better card to fit an older agp or is the 7600gt the top of the line for agp technology. cause it looks ,gaming wise, that agp is now obsolite. still tryin to put off buying a new pci-e, MAYBE. Im asking because of the new WoW expansion Wotlk, Doesnt seem like the 7600gt would keep up. if any one has the 7600agp could you tell me what your fps is? especialy on WoW if you play.

any way, any help would be appriciated.
THANX!!! :hello:

Ive heard they make 3850's in agp, not sure of the voltage though. Check it out.

I would guess there are now onboard graphics faster than the agp stuff, and you can get a new motherboard in the process.

HD3850 is the fastest AGP card available. AGP 1x/2x cards use 3.3V, 4x 1.5v, and 8x .8v.

Do you even know what 1.5v means? Have you looked at the connectors even once before you post about something you don't know? Some boards that accept 1.5v only won't even fit that card.
