Ok I know nothing about Dvix, mp4,Avi,mpeg 1,mpeg 2.... A friend told me I needed a program that would convert DVD to Dvix... I found a program that would convert DVD to Avi or mp4 or mpeg 1... I read up on these types of files from Wiki but I still have questions? My question for you is ... Is this the right forum for this quesion and if not where can I find more info? Coltoe

this is hardware place but
the software to me is
Total Video Converter

too much easy and gives me and supports many video formats plus
it can extract audio from any video
