Ok i just got a 9600gt card to replace my dual 7600's. Now when i boot the system i get redlines verticaly, this last until windows starts then windows is fine. when i load world of warcraft i get theese same line unless im in windowed mode. Any idea? I know the card is designed for a pcie2 slot but says it can run in a standard x16 which is what i got. I have 500 watt power supply. Also when i start the computer the fan on the graphics card is load as hell but once it gets into windows its gets quiet.

RMA it, BIOS corruption is the first and definate sign of irreversible GPU damage. I had a 2900XT do the exact same thing.
