right now that power supply is giving power to Two HD3650's in crossfire and 4GB ram.
would my Antec Three Hundred case be big enough for that card? would my 530W power supply
be enough for that HD4870?

thanks.
Your case will fit a 4870 without any problems. Your power supply is iffy, but should handle the load as long as you don't have too many other power hungry devices attached.
The Antec 300 should fit it, but I would not be certain about the PSU, I would look at something like the Corsair 650TX or the 750TX if you're considering CF in the future. 530w may be enough but I would look for a more quality brand.
i am with brendano the case will fit no problem PSU is a maybe. the 650watt by corsiar is great for 1 and my corsiar 750watt has no problem with 2 of them.
no problem with the fit. i have a 4870x2 and it is plenty of room. great case imo. as for psu, i would recommend the same ones the above people are stating. corsair 650 is a great one. but as rammar said, if you plan on a crossfire system go with a higher wattage
ok this is what im running. which is not much.
1x 160GB Hard Drive.
1x DVD drive.
1x Athlon 64 x2 5000+ ( overclocked from 2.6 to 3.0 )
1x Biostar motherboard. ( i dont know the exact specs right now )
2x Radion HD 3650's in crossfire.
i dont plan on going for crossfire with the 4870. but maybe. if not, will i still be able to supply it with enough power?
