Trying to help out a friend and he has a Dell Inspiron 531 slimline, My question is can it fit and run in the computer.

I doubt it, but all the tests I could come up with, on paper it could work, they all show total system less than 250 watts. they all comment on low power consumption. don't know if it will fit.

You'll need to choose a low-profile video card for that slimline case.
The best low-profile card I could see is a Galaxy GeForce 9600 GT 512MB that looks like it will run with that power supply. Check the NewEgg customer reviews.

i'm running on med pc (pentium d 2.8 ghz, 2GB DDR2 ram, onboard vga) and i want upgrade my vga with 4670 becuse i'm only had little budget.. my pc also had 250W PSU.. any idea? :) sorry for my english.. thx

They do not make a 4670 low pro card, plus i think it will need a little more juice than a 250w. The 9600GT might draw to much power. I'd suggest a 9500GT slim card for a 250W PSU.
