alright, when i opened my computer to install my card i noticed a big piece of metal going across my case from 1 side to the other

its not on the mother board but it doesn't leave my enough space to put in the card

ive tried to remove it but i cant its probably bolted in, i dont know why its there it doesnt seem to server a purpose, my only theory is dell put it there to maybe stop you from installing new equipment?

any info is appreciated

Have you looked for a screw on the outside/rear of the case?
What model do you have?

i also dont mean the bar that you dont have to push out on the side of the case i mean a big thick long metal peice going across the length of the whole case

There is only one infallible rule of computers, no matter how fast it is, no matter how many gigs of ram you have, no matter how much it cost...
Windows will still lag.
