cd or dvd driver is not visible in the my system if i open MyComputer.How to resolve and able to see in mycomputer

Is the drive visible in the BIOS screens ? Also check Device Manager (Control Panel, System, Hardware)

are you in safe mode? It tends not to show up there. If you aren't, you can boot to safe mode, then remove the drivers for it, then reboot the PC. That brought it back on one XP machine I worked on.
