Not sure if this fits in here, but I have a Saitek Cyborg keyboard and Logitech MX518 and was wondering what the best way to clean them would be. I mean to clean like oil and sweat residue? No crumbs or anything inside here....
Meh my first post here as well. I would suggest using dust remover (Canned Air) to clean inside the keys and such, as for the residue a pre packaged wipe or plain old windex should do it.
I just put my whole keyboard into the dishwasher with some regular dish soap. (Palmolive) Then, when that gets done I bungie strap it in between two dry pillows and stick it in the clothes dryer for an hour or so. Comes out clean and perfect every time as long as you make sure all the soap is gone. Water in and of itself won't damage electronics, it takes water and electricity if your keyboard is either wet with no current or dry with current, it's safe.
