Error report

have asus M2N MX SE.
and amd 64 x2.Using transcend 2x1gb ram.
I do play games much but whenever i am doing
some thing in my pc it gives the error saying
the respective .exe has encountered a error and needs to close.sorry for the inconvenience caused
.....can this problem be solved..
