I have a DFI lanparty board that has worked great for a few years. The other day every thing froze on screen and I had to power down from plug. The thing now won't post, the lights come on, fans run but it won't post. No bios or anything. Any thoughts? I've already tried a stripped down build, same effect.

Well I got another board, used all the same parts and it worked fine for a week and then it did the same thing. The ram is corsair xms and has worked great for a while, could this be the culprit, if so why would it work on another board for a week? I know something has to be doing it, just trying to figure out what and the why. I guess I was just attached to my dfi board and wanted to some how salvage it, but it's been over a month since it went out. I have all these parts I could put on another board but hesitate for fear another board would bite the dust.

I'd suspect the PSU more than the memory.
