I have a ASUS P6X58D Premium LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard and CORSAIR DOMINATOR 12GB (6 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory.
How do I change the 12gb into 24? possible?
Simple answer, NO - I have the exact dominator DDR3 RAM chips - 6x2 = 12 GB. These chips cannot be converted from 2 GB to 3 GB each.
Please evaluate the cost of the 3GB RAM chips versus the present 2 GB RAM chips that you have. The switch may not be cost effective.
lol, not anymore. At first I thought is was some sort of virtual thing. Then I realized that I had an idiotic thought. I then went outside and took my daily ride on the short-bus. I'm not quite to noobville yet. Pardon the interruption.
