Trying to decide whether or not to upgrade my PSU. Rosewill 630w(four 12v@20a rails, SLI Certified) before I buy a 2nd 4870 1GB. Pretty sure I could, just not sure if I would lose any performance... What do you think?

Other Specs:

Abit Quad GT X38
E8400@4.0 (1.38v)
4GB DDR2-1066 (2.1v)
2 HDs SATA 7200rpm (Might add want a VelociRaptor 300GB later)
DVD Burner
6 case fans

Thanks

A single 4870 video card uses 152 watts and 13 amps at full load.

Two 4870 video cards in SLI mode will use 295 watts and 25 amps at full load.

Tom's hardware recently published an article about video cards and power requirements. You can find the link on the home page.

You would not lose performance by upgrading to a high quality power supply that is stable, efficient, and reliable.

Raidur, I think their point is that your PSU may not be up to the task.
Rosewill has had a name synonymous with crap when it comes to PSUs. Look for competent technical reviews on your current model (I'm at work right now, so my opportunity for that is limited). I have seen a few on newer models that were at least okay though, so maybe they are waking up. Find out though, because otherwise you are risking your entire system. If in doubt, or you want a new PSU that you know will be good, choose a model from Antec, Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, or Seasonic in the 650W-750W range.
