Can i us the Seagate 7200.12 1 TB and the Seagate 7200. 12 500 gb in raid 0 together they are the same hard drives just different storage space.

you dont have to put same drives for RAID 0, for RAID 1 yes indeed.

for RAID 0 just make sure you have same type and speed any different size wouldn't matter. if you have different speed then it will follow based on the slower one.
 
It's possible, but you'll be losing 500gig on your 1TB drive. The striped partitions must be the same size, thus you'll lose half of your larger drive. This one of many reasons why it's highly recommended that you use the same size drive and even the same make/model if possible.
