so for $60 is it worth it to get the 1gb? i have a 22" lcd samsung monitor (res 1680x1050) .. q6600, 4gb RAM. gaming and video editing machine.. what you think people?

If 1600×1200 is max of your screen then 60 dollars isn't worth it.

If it's the HD 4850 like I suspect, definitely the 512mb one. It doesn't have the power to drive 1gb, and a res of 1680x1050 is low enough that on the HD 4870 it wouldn't make a difference, either.
