Ram beep

while formating my pc wih win xp, suddenly screen of monitor started disturbing due to some thing so that i restarded my pc, but when it started it was giving 3 continuous beeps, which are seems to be ram connection problem.i tried in various way by cleaning,changing the slot etc. but in is not stopping and monitor also not getting started.

First, check to make sure you have the beep code right: http://www.helpwithpcs.com/upgrading/post-beep-codes.htm

If it is RAM, try installing just one DIMM at a time.
