I have an XFX 680i Lt motherboard and I like to overclock in the bios, however when I try to change the setting in the "dynamic bios access" section of Nvidia Control Panel, nothing happens. For example I try to change the CPU core clock or change FSB configuration to "unlinked", then hit "apply" and nothing happens. Yes, I do have all of the latest drivers.
Its usually not recommended to use software for overclocking, as it is not stable, and may cause hardware failure. Not to mention Nvidia's COntrol Panel is not known for its effectiveness .
Try overclocking with BIOS option. They're much easier and safer to use.
