Hi everyone, I have just got a new computer. I have a 9800gtx+ but when I install the drivers it changes my monitors settings to
Screen resolution 800 by 600 pixels and Lowest Quality colours 4 bit and won't let me change. Anyone know how to get round this problem?

Where are you trying to change the resolution? Is there no icon for the GeForce down in the tray?

If it's a new computer, why are you installing drivers? They should already be installed.

I bought a new graphics card, and there is no icon for nvidia/geforce in the tray, when I install the drivers it just restarts and sets the resolution it's self to 800 by 600. :(

It's fine now thanks. I had to install new service pack and it worked. thanks :)
