i cant reformat my window xp pc. i try to reformat my pc.i set my bios cdrom 1st boot,then i insert my windows xp cd.then restart.after restart.i says press any key then i press any and nothing happen. how cant i reformat my windows xp pc?

are you using a usb or ps2 keyboard?
is your XP disk dirty or scratched?
