(If a thread like this already exists and has been resolved, please link)

Yesterday I found an EVGA 9800 GTX+ under the tree for me. I was thrilled and immediately set it up in my rig. My first game that I tested was, of course, Crysis, and then it's pseudo-sequel, Crysis: Warhead. Crysis performed up to par with the benchmarks, and I was happy to be able to play it at such great image quality. Warhead, on the other hand, I've fared a little less favorably.

Using two different sites as reference,

http://www.techspot.com/article/118-crysis-warhead-performance/page4.html
for strait-up, card performance, and

http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,661004/Reviews/Crysis_Warhead-_Scalability_of_CPU_clock_speed_and_number_of_cores/?page=2
to make sure it wasn't a CPU thing, (the previous link uses a quad-core clocked to 3.0, while my processor lacks two of those four they have) I figured that I should be running it at a solid 30 frames a second on Gamer.

This is not the case; on the level "Shore leave," not even the most stressful of the levels, my firefights leave me at a painful 20 FPS average, with constant dips into the teens. Do you have any idea why my card isn't performing up to "standards?"

(From Hell's Heart, the level in the second link, is the most stressful level in the game.)

Summary:

9800 GTX+ getting 20 FPS on Crysis: Warhead, should be getting about 30.

Hi. first of all i want to say that give your specs. probably your motherboard its not top end that can give excellent performance to all your components. so post your technical specs so we can give you a better info of what happen
