Hi, I have had my A8N32 SLi Deluxe motherboard for some time now, and have used multiple SATA drives along with it. Every SATA drive I use, it detects it as an IDE drive and in the bios puts in the 3rd IDE slot. I have switched it around and set it in multiple SATA ports, no luck. I am at the moment using a Raptor X 150GB HDD and since it requires no jumper use, I don't know what the problem is. I have RMA'd the board, ASUS ran a scan, and detected no problems. Any ideas? Am I missing some sort of driver? Thanks! :hello:

there should be a spot in the bios that runs your sata drives as IDE mode may also be called legacy mode, you would need to switch this off
