Someone set the password, computer's don't just decide to do things on their own, like changing or setting passwords (as much as people like to think they do). Do a web search on how to get a boot disk to reset passwords.

I got this computer from another person now unknown. He must have setup finger print and password. I just hooked up and booted up normal(it never asked for a print or password). I never setup one either. I have used for years with no problems.

Something happened that I am not aware of. Now it won't bootup without that info. I will try your suggestion.

Thanks again, Wish me luck
