Where are you buying these from? The first option would be the best, but could still be improved. Some of those options are over two years old. I can't believe people are still selling computers with Pentium D's. Whatever you do, don't get a Pentium D.

Are you able to build your own PC? You could get a better machine if you built your own.

I live in Macedonia so that would explain the older PCs being sold :)

Any way what would you recommend, in terms of building a pc?

Like I said I'm pressed for time so I'm in a big hurry. Our government gives students a coupons for 250 euros to buy a pc and I have to use it by next week or it will run out.

Well, under your circumstances maybe you should just pick up the first one on the list (Q6600, 4GB RAM, 9800GT, etc...). It would be a nice computer. It's the best on the list.

Thanks guys.

I have one question will the E8500 Core 2 Duo be futureproof?

Because I've read that Core Duo are better for gaming, but I've also read that many new games may utilize the Core Quads in the future.

So is it smarter to get a Duo or Quad?
