DDR-2 Memory Difference Question

I'm purchasing a new computer and was wondering if a 8 GB [2 GB X4] DDR2-800 PC6400 Memory Module set-up would be better compared to a 4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR2-1066 PC2 8500 Memory Module set-up? Also, considering the second option is a bit more pricey, would it be worth the extra cash for that upgrade?

well, if you have aboard thats dual channel, the pair of 4 will theoretically be slower (across all sticks/ and slower clocks) as apposed to the faster clock, and only 2 sticks (faster latency times); but it also depends on the memmory timings, are they both low latency...?
why dont you give us a link to the brand... or website/ deal your looking at
