Ok, here is what i need an upgrade for:
My computer was originally a gateway FX 530, an still is in the same case, which i like so here is the current stance of the system
(nothing is overclocked, i am saving that so i have something to do in college)

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 Ghz
Motherboard: (Stock from gateway) Intel 975X Chipset, 2 PCIe, 65 nm only
<---- http://support.gateway.com/s//MOTHERBD/Intel2/4006151R/4006151Rnv.shtml (the detailed specs on it)
Video Card: HD 4850, 512 DDR3 (1 week old, very satisfied, great card)
Memory: 4 * 1Gig OCZ Gold 667 DDR2
HD: Hitachi 250Gb SATA
PSU: Gateway stock, 700 Watt

Computer is generally used for gaming FPS (CSS, Fallout3, COD4, L4D, TF2)
3D Mark06 rated it at 10,000

Budget $350

Any suggestions would be helpful, tnx

Good deal. Milk it for all it's worth and save your money. You should be able to get some great newer tech again soon when your system won't do what you want it to do.
