Decrypt the Win 2003 encrypted file on win XP

Hello, I have been encrypted a folder at Win2003, and restore the same in wixxp enviornment after format the C drive. Now unable to open the files of that folder.

Reverse the same.
Copy the folder and decrypt in a pc where Windows 2003 is loaded. That will be much easier for you.

I did the same but unable to decrypt the same. I have been got to know one solution.

There is some recovery agent option to decrypt the folder/file but, I am not aware how to create the same.

If any one know, how to create the recovery agent, kindly share the same.

The recovery agent needed to be in place before the file(s) were encrypted. The recovery agent certificate needed to be exported for use in the XP computer. You are screwed unless the original computer still works and you decrypt the folders there.
