Cant partition SSD

I recent recieved an intel 80 gb ssd and i cannot partition it or install windows on it, bios recognizes it as well as device manager but i cannot see it in my computer and it wont b recognized when i start up windows installer. Anyone have any ideas thanks

hmm i tryed a few partion tools and if i remember rightly it was paragon partion manager which helped me out . But remember to stop at 4 partions as thats all they handle.

what motherboard are you using it on?
