Last year I got a WD 320 Gb Ext hdd, I used it deeral times for bsckups etc. Yesterday I pugged it into my new pc, to my great sadness, it didnt show up, so I went to disk management (I'm running WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE X86) and it wasn't there either.
So, I tried plugging it into another computer, but it STILL did not show up.
I really need a solution quick guys, it has a school project on it due next week.
Thanks in advance!

Are you using any other devices, which are using drives letters like E, F, G?
If so, you can temporarily change those to a higher drive letter and then plug in your ext hd and see if it appears.

virus or bad sector, bad mbr?

Some file recovery program may help you detect your drive http://www.icare-recovery.com/
