Normal (primary) partitioning only allows 4 partitions per drive, so unless you used Extended partitions...
If you give more detail about what you did and with what tools we may be able to help...

Mr linux
i think i used Acronis Director to add another pattion( or what i thought i was doing) and now the space is Unallocated. which i cant open or do any thing with. Then it seemed to cut off and on and when it rebooted it now has to operating systems at start up (windows 7 and windows 7 professional)
im very confused.

Actually i just call dell and they said as in waranty will send a service man to look and probally change the drive.

Are you talking about the 100MB hidden system partition that W7 creates when you install it?

Why do you want to make additional partitions on your SSD?

you can use some recovery program to get files back http://www.icare-recovery.com/

This one works for Windows 7.
