You got a extra CPU and way slower ram. Both CPU's are junk. Your ram is slow as a turtle. Your bottle necking your video card big time. Your original CPU was junk and your new ones arent any better. You downgraded your mobo and ram big time.

You should have got a q6600 or e8400 for your other mobo and you would be scoring 14000+

Basically you downgraded. Buying old tech when its cheap and outdated dont mean it can run as good as new tech.

lol, a bit rude and blunt but quite true.
the ram is wwwwaaaayyy too slow for a dual CPU board.
and those CPUs are DEFINATELY not gaming grade

DDR2 is INSANELY cheap. lets see, 4gigs of PC2 8500 for 50 dollars?

thats pretty reasonable to me;)

that cpu is not for gaming. Main bottleneck is that 400mhz ram! (bandwidth starvation)

but do you guys think the cpu is a big bottleneck 2 or not 2 much =S

Reply to scottyy

You need to use your p5ql pro motherboard and the 3G of ram you said you had with it, and buy a q6600 or e8400, OC and enjoy.

The workstation needs to go in the trash. It is a piece of crap. Both CPU's are a huge bottleneck.

You cant put 3g of DDR2 800 ram in the workstation, it is not compatible.

Dude!!! You paid $500 for the workstation. I would take it back and demand a refund, or severely beat someone down.
