I'm buying a MSI G45M Digital and have researched until I got a migraine. Will the Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80580Q8200 and the CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX make a good system?

I've got to get the best bang for the buck, so to speak, and I have approx $350 to spend.

What do y'all think? Thanks in advence.

I apologize for that no one responded fast enough, people around here are usually all over questions like this.

What is the purpose of your system? I can only assume your planning on building a HTPC because of your choice of motherboard.
