Hello,
I`m planning to upgrade my CPU for now, but my budget isnt exactly big (damn world financial crysis).
I curently have an AMD Brisbane 4400+ Overclocked at 2.7Ghz (from 2.3ghz stock) ... stock cooler etc.
M2N-E Asus mobo, 4Gb Ram Corsair, 9600GT GPU Gigabyte, 250GB hdd, Win Vista64.
I selected some CPUs:
the new AMD Athlon64 x2 7750, 2,7ghz with L3 chace
or the old AMDx2 6000+ Brisbane
another consideration would be the Phenomx3 8450.
Mostly i sue PC to play HD movies and play games... i hope this CPU will help me get with several games that will launch this game, cause the 4400+ felt at the edge with several 2008 games. Ofcourse i got planned a GPU upgrade to for later, hopefully an ati 4850 or maybe 4870. So take that nto consideration. My PSU is a Thermaltake 400W. Most ppl say i get the 6000+ cause it has highest clockspeeds. I heard the 7750 can be easily overclocked.
What do you recomend?
