If that 19" is 1680x1050, a single 4870 would be sufficient, i think a 22" is also 1680x1050. If it is 1400x900, you probably wouln't need more than a 4850. Not quite sure what you mean by non HD, whether u mean 480p or just not exactly 720p ir 1080p. Most monitors basically support HD, just not the same ratio as typical HDTVs.
Hmm... Even a Radeon 4850 is a slight overkill for 1680x1050.
8800GT would be the best bet. I'd choose the 4850 for the extra power though.
Mmmm, 4850 wouldn't be that much of an overkill for 1680x1050 IMO. Many games won't need that much power to be "playable", but then you just increase AA/AF and enjoy the eye-candy . At least you have a choice between high FPS or image quality.

19" is 1440x900 - 9800gtx or 4850 22" is 1680x1050 - gtx260 or 4870 24" is 1920x1200 - gtx280 or 4870x2
I have a 9800gtx with a 22" and it's not enough for games like Crysis, or even maxing CoD 4 and 5. Games using the Half Life 2 and Unreal 3 engine are easy enough to run.

grab the best card you can afford, no one can run crysis at max with 60FPS, so dont feel bad about that. IF you can afford the 4870 then get that atleast then you will be garanteed to play games that come out for the next two years. give yourself room for other games that come out in the future.
