Hi everyone this is my first post so go easy on me.

The problem is RealTek onboard soundcard with the Asrock ALiveNF7G-HD720p mainboard.

Im trying to plug my voip headphones and mic into the front panel, nothing.
Within the RealTek HD Audio Manager, Audio I/O there should be an option for back and front panel, alas with me theres no option for front panel. A search on line shows theres at lest 2 diffrent RealTek Audio Managers both with this option.
http://www.lebokov21.com/2008/02/1 [...] k-sensing/ (Audio Manager 1)
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/FileLis [...] 418-05.pdf (Audio Manager 2 (same as my one except page 11 fig 3-1))

The OS is windows XP, the drivers are ALC662 DirectX9.0c 5.10.0.5519

Ive installed uninstalled the bundled drivers, the AC97 4.06 and High Definition Audio Codec from RealTek`s web page all without luck.

Any info or tips would be much appreciated.

Is the motherboard connector connected to the front panel audio?
