Overclocking Voltage problem

Hi i have a AMD Athlon II X4 630 Propus 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core and i overclocked to 3 ghz but i never touched the voltage is that a bad thing?Sry im a bit new on the whole overclocking side my motherboard is a ma785g ud3mh motherboard

sry guys but i bought the 2.6 version of this core not the 2.8

If 3.0 is what you want and you can get it without touching the voltage all the better.
