Just finalized and ordered my new rig, I'm in Canada so the prices kind of suck, all parts from NCIX...let me know what you think!
Suggestions/opinions welcomed, I can still refund/change my order!

CPU : E8400 - 200
Motherboard : EVGA 750i FTW - 180
GPU : EVGA GTX 260 Core 216 - 220
Case : Antec Three Hundred - 40
PSU : Corsair TX750W - 120
HSF : OCZ Vendetta - 22
RAM : Mushkin PC6400 DDR-800 Dual Channel 2x2GB 5-4-4-12@1.8v - 65
HD : Samsung Spinpoint F1 640GB 16MB Buffer - 69

Total = $916 after rebates and before taxes.

I decided against a i7 build, because it would've cost me an extra 500 more...I only game on this machine, so I'm going to add another 4gb of RAM, and a second GTX 260 core 216 when prices are right to spend that extra 500...what do you guys think?

hmm liking the rig kinda similar to mine.. only im going q9550 and i already got a Coolermaster real power 1000 wattpsu as well as a cm stacker 810 and id prefer atleast a 32 mb buffer at 7200 rpm on my hdd. By the way if your going 750i ftw why arent u going 1066 ram.. One of the plus's about the FTW part is that small addition. None the less the rig wont fail u 1 bit be prepared for high fps on almost every game..

haha i'm excited! :D
that ram is actually quite special...been doing my research and reading that they can be overlocked to 1066mhz EASY, and still remain under warranty at 2.1volts...awesome thing is that it's cheeeeap, and timings will be tight at 5-5-5-12@2.1v 1066mhz, must RAM at that speed are 5-5-5-15, yummy
i'm a little disappointed...i wasn't able to change my PSU in time...so i'll be rocking the seasonic m12 600w modular PSU...so if i want SLI i'll need another PSU!
that won't be for a long time anways, with vid prices being the way they are! :D
modular ftw.

should i get 8gb of ram!?!?!? will i notice a big improvement?

hmm well to help you out right now.. 4 gb of 1066 ram is about all youll need.. ofcoure with 64 bit vista. TO me 8 gb of ram is complete overkill. Start with 2 2gb sticks giving you 4. Then if you want to a bit over the top buy another 2gb stick to get you 6. Youll be just screaming with anything higher then 4. But if you were to compare the differences between say 4gb of ram and 8.. Id say yea the preformance will be a bit noticiable but definatly not worth the extra 100 somthing dollars for the other 4 gb of ram. Nuthing right now needs 8 gbs of ram to be honest
