Hi,

Is there anyone using Antec Quattro 850 PSU?

If so, do you have 4870 crossfire running with them?

If so, is everything stable?

I'm search all over the web and I hear a lot of "yes" and "no". But I want to hear from someone who actually has that setting..

Well, I have that PSU with a single card for about half year now and I'm looking forward to upgrade.. And PSU is one my worries.

Thanks! You guys are so nice!
Pete

P.S. I'm new to this forum. I just updated my computer parts. can you see them? or I can tell you all about it. ;)

Hi petercho712

Unfortunately i don't run two 4870s in an SLI configuration. However i can add an additional YES to the mix. You'd likely have power to spare to add a 3rd card if it was practical.

Again, I also do not have this setup, but I can guarantee it will be fine. Tom's hardware ran 3 GTX260's on a 850W (calculated only 760W needed) power supply, with an OC'd quad core as well.

If you use ThermalTakes PSU calculator you should be just fine. It returns 690W for 2X4870's and a Q9550@3.6. A 850W powersupply is definitely enough for your needs.
