So this is what I have bought so far from newegg (screenshot of checkout)

I now need a video card, harddrive, and optical drive. I think I have what I want, but I just wanted to check if these would be ok (hopefully playing crysis medium settings 1680x1050)

Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM -- looking for the cheapest that works
MSI N9600GT 512M OC GeForce 9600 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail --Want to play crysis a bit 1680x1050

What do you think?

Thanks

That's a great DVD burner. I have one and haven't had any problems with it.

I guess the HD will work, but the new 640GB drives are a lot faster. You might want to consider the WD6400AAKS.

The motherboard you picked is crossfire compatible. I would upgrade the GPU to at least an ATI HD4850.

ASUS EAH4850 TOP/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

completely agree with shortstuff. Does the power supply have enough watts over the 12V rail to crossfire two 4850's?

If not, i believe the antec EA650 does and its only $60, which would ultimately save you about $15. I don't see the corsair combo on newegg anymore by the way...
