i have a phenom ii x 3 720 unlocked 4 core and adata ddr3 ram rated at 1600 MHz 9-9-9-24. My problem is I cannot get the ram to run at 1600 MHz. Right now I am running it at 1333 MHz 7-7-7-20 at 1.5 V. I have gotten it to 1600 MHz 9-9-9-24-1T at 1.6 V but BSODs after an hour. I have tried increased voltage to 1.68 V but no difference. Is there anything else I can try? I read that phenom IIs dont support 1600 MHz ddr3 RAM. Is this true? Would it help to increase CPU-NB VID? what is the safe limit for this? right now its at 1.2 V.

Yes your CPU Or MOBO cannot reach the Advertised speed of Your Ram.
Dont Worry about it, ram OC'ing is not really benificial. just leave it as is, those are pretty good timings, well done
