Hey everyone, just got done putting together my first build. Pressed the power button and nothing. No noises, no leds, no beeps, fans don't spin, absolutely nothing. Power supply light is on and is set to the right voltage. I hooked up both the 24pin atx and 4pin atx power connectors. I cleared the cmos to no prevail. Then I disconnected everything except my cpu, motherboard, and 1 stick of ram to see if I could get to bios but still nothing. One thing to note, when I took the motherboard out of the box there was no protection cap on the CPU socket.

Specs:

BIOSTAR MCP6P-M2 AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 / nForce 430 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Brisbane 2.7GHz Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor

Hanns·G HB-175APB Black 17" 8ms Widescreen LCD Monitor

CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Old Micro ATX Emachines T2200 Case

Old Bestec 300W PSU

My Thermaltake 430W PSU and 7600gt are going to be thrown in from my other pc when I get this thing running.

But as you can tell this is a budget build lol. Any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated.
