The thermaltake PSU's seem to have problems running multiple GTX 285's in SLI . Based on reviews and issues others have posted on various sites.

Do I really need to run a 1200w PSU for this build? I understand clean power is everything!!

I am getting a similar build and i am getting the corsair HX1000w power supply, it is recommended by Nvidia for 2 GTX 285 in SLI , and it has great review all round but im not sure about the Silverstone.

I ran the Corsair PSU Calculator
http://www.corsair.com/psufinder/default.aspx
It came up with The HX1000W.

The 1000HX will suit your needs just fine, you won't need a 1200W power supply for 2x285's.

TX750 or 850 will do.

I would say Corsair HX1000W, or PCP&C's 1000W PSU.
