I7 920

hello,

i have an aurora that i would like to overclock. i see everywhere that i can go to 3.20mhz no problem. I do not know how to do this. ? What is the best way to do it, i know that i can change my BIOS settings or should i use a o'c utility ?

  1. Answer: Use both.
    First get into the BIOS and set the RAM multiplier to the lowest ratio.
    Then use the OC utility (like ELEET) and overclock in gradual increments paying close attention to voltages and temps.

  2. I prefer to change everything inside the bios. make sure your FSB is over 325 but below 450 and just fiddle with the multiplier and voltages (In small increments)
