is my sb600 limiting to overclock my phenom 2 710? i cant seem to find any stability in anyway..i have to leave it at stock speed cus if i move anything i get unstable or unbootable pc..orthos gives me errors..

i have a msi k9a2 cf v2..i think is that what is limiting me..if i get a mobo with a sb 750 and the nb 790gx will i be able to overclock my pc...like the folowing mobo

please help as i need an answer fast to order my new mobo..thanks

The Advanced Clock Calibration in SB750 boards was only helpful for original Phenoms. Your Phenom II does not benefit from it and would overclock the same as on an SB750 board, everything else being equal. About the only way your overclock would be better on the 790GX/SB750 board is if your current motherboard cannot raise the HT bus speed or CPU Vcore enough for you.

I forgot one thing- is the X3 710 properly supported by the board's BIOS?
