I think that the 8200 might be a little better than the 780G based on reviews but I have no idea about the 770. Does anyone know how it rates against these newer boards? So far all I can tell is that the 770 doesn't have integrated graphics but that won't matter to me. Also the GA-MA770-DS3 I am looking at is the revision 1.0 but I don't know what that means.

i have the same board good motherboard the difference is the southbbridge chip revision 1 has the 600 sb chip
revision 2 has the 700 sb chip is better 750 sb is the best different motherboard amd chipset 780 790
better for upgrading later to a phenom2 when the motherboard first came out all they had was the 600 sb then amd
upgraded it to 700 better features and so did gigabyte if you can grab a 780 or 790 chipset mb with the 700 or 750 sb whould be better but agian thats a good motherboard

So if you are in need of a decent board for a workstation or general home use at a great price, I would consider the ECS A780GM-A not good

ECS GF8200A Review seems ok but im really not a fan of ecs not the best ?

the gigabyte board is a better board can't go wrong if those are your only chooses i'd pick the

I wish, it'd probably be half the price! Seller got a bit pushy so I have ordered my new computer off the net.
This is what I'm going with:

Athlon X2 7750 Black
Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3
iCute S901-BB 4G
Western Digital Caviar SE 7200RPM 16MB Cache SATA2

I'm either going to get a 4670 or 3850 (in an auction)

Please let me know what you think! But don't burst my bubble by saying it's all rubbish!!
