Hey guys, I can overclock my cpu to 3.5 Ghz or even higher without having any heat problems but whenever I stress it, after about 10 minutes, my computer freezes. The fsb is 387.5 with cpu multiplier set to 6x. (I don't even know what the multiplier does so I let it at default). I am also stressing the memory at the same time. The temperature is 55 degrees Celsius after a couple of minutes at 100% cpu usage. The voltage is 1.313. My memory timing is 5-7-7-21. I left the timings on auto in my BIOS and the motherboard changed them to that from 5-5-5-18. The memory is at 1100 Mhz.
Do I have to change the other settings like the VTT or PSS or something?

Specs:
Motherboard Asus Striker II Formula bios 2201
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 3487 MHz
Core Voltage 1.313 V
Memory Timings 5-7-7-21

You are overclocking your memory and that is probably limiting your CPU overclock.

Have you studied any of the OC guides?
