Over heating issues

hey I just built a new e8500 with a xigmatek cpu cooler and Im running 41c at idle. that seems really hot. any ideas?

run Prime 95 and check the temps. If it gets over 60 C, then reseat your Heatsink and check the thermal compound.

I ran Prime 95 and my ave distance to TJ Max never got above 57c and 56c on each core. so the average temp stays around 43c and 44c and it never got above 46c.

One of the core of my AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ @ 3GHz shows 86ºC & the other 54ºC. Why is it so? Is it normal?
