I tried to update bios via asus update utility.
I started update, computer was suddenly becoming slow, and when update reached 50% computer shuts down.
I turn on computer, computer working for 3 sec and turns off.
Tried removing battery, and setting clrtc jumper to 2-3, but noting.
Don’t have speaker on motherboard so don’t ask me for sound.
Don’t have floppy drive.
I can confirm that leds on keyboard light at start (num, caps, scroll) and cooler on cpu is working.

motherboard: asus m2n-xe, bios: amibios

Which update utility? The one in the BIOS or a Windows utility? Did you try the BIOS recovery procedure (it requires a CD, not a floppy)?

i forgot to mention that i have done backup of my bios before update. and i have it on usb thumb drive file name is M2N-XE.ROM

You probably know by now why we don't recommend using a Windows application to flash the BIOS.

Follow the instructions for your Asus motherboard. Burn the BIOS file on a CD, then insert the CD into the drive, reboot the PC and check if there's activity on the CD or DVD reader. You need to find out what the name the file should be (it might be AMIBOOT.ROM, but it could be something else). Your manual should include detailed instructions. If not, visit the Asus support site.
