Hi,
My cpu has been bottlenecking me for a while in my gaming... so I was wondering if it'd be worth it to overclock it through the os. I have a standard HP mobo that lacks overclock options in the bios so I really want to be able to squeeze more performance out of this until i can get a new cpu

You might be able to use SetFSB, CPUCool or ClockGEN but its a crap shoot getting it to work even if you do get it to work you wont be able to OC much since you will not be able to change the Vcore. It couldn't hurt to try but dont expect too much from it.
