usually, chipset from AMD(ATI) or nvidia has better gfx performance than Intel. But, I would rather get an Intel chipset than a nvidia one and get a cheap gfx card if you need better performance. On AMD machine, I use mostly AMD chipset, sometime nvidia ones.

It's all depend of what you need the computer for.

the chipset by itself don't really matter for what you want to do. Maybe that, since you don't game, the nvidia one may be a better choice for multimedia stuff, like watching movies, and have may have better sound output. And maybe the cpu on the nvidia is faster, or it has more memory.

For your case, look at hard disk size first, then RAM and add the cpu. this will give you a more satisfying experience
