Whats the best hard drive?

Still building my wifes system slowly,Trying to deiced on a hard drive, other then the raptor series, what is going to be the fastest hd? I thought I read in toms hardware not to long ago that other then the raptors series the best HD was some type of western digital black series, but I cant find that article anymore. In toms hd charts it shows seagate, samsung and hitachi ahead of wd.nLooking for the fastest hd for net surfing, quickbooks pro, microsoft office and some dvd burning. Im trying to stay away from the Velociraptor's price tag. i was thinking of something like a 500 or 750 gig hd

A 500GB WD Caviar Black is good. I ordered one today, actually.

You could either buy a WD6400AAKS or a WD6400AALS. A 1TB Samsung F1 will be faster, but it also is more expensive. Most users won't notice the difference between various 7200 RPM disks, unless they run benchmarks.
