I was looking at the msi Sli Eclipse and it Noticed it says ddr 1333 or 1600oc?

I am getting 6gbs of 1600 would that run on it? I am also planning to overclock it would that mean my memory wouldn't go higher than 1600?

All that means is that it will be 1333 when it is plugged in and you will have to manually set it to 1600, no big deal. Nice pick on the board, I love mine. The layout is great and it is very spacious.

hink u buy another motherboard cause my msi ecplise ioh north bridge temperature is to hot @ 85c..i7920 at stock speed..*** msi

yes u could run 1600 mhz with no problem and can further overclock max to 2100+ mhz
